Such change was due to the fact that under this Office are three (3) functional divisions which are the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS), the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) and the Schools Governance and Operations Division (SGOD). These functional divisions are comprised of sections and under such are units/teams. The OSDS. In doing so, it is armed with sections such as the Legal Section, ICT Section, Finance Section and Administrative Section. The latter oversees the Cash Unit, Personnel Unit, Records Unit, Property & Supply Unit and General Services Unit. Accounting and Budget Units are under the Finance Section. Under the OSDS are the aforementioned two functional divisions which are the CID and SGOD. It also gears to improve provisions and availability of quality learning and teaching resource materials for students and instructional support materials for teachers in the division. CID is accountable to conduct research studies and utilize the research findings; to provide technical assistance to schools in areas of curriculum implementation, instructional supervision, resource generation & social mobilization and School Improvement Plan implementation. The SGOD is driven in strengthening the schools and learning centers.
